Hero bets $12, BB raises to $36, Hero calls $24

Flop: ($72) K, J, 8 (2 players)
BB bets $44, Hero raises to $124, BB calls $80

Turn: ($320) J (2 players)

flop size is fine, turn I would probably bet little bit smaller like 120 but 150 is fine also.

flops in the OK range but im not sure if id want to get money in in 2 streets or 3 on the flop, id probably go for 2 with a draw for pressure so 185ish otf and shoving safe turn is more standard (not this one obv).

turn its in the same range, i think 90-120 accomlishes the same thing and saves a few bbs w/ draws

i wouldn't raise small on these type of boards 100bb deep... maybe like 175bb deep +

fold/flat/pot are the options imo, obv we are not folding here

One thing to consider is how often he stabs river. Or if you check back does he immediately consider you to be weak/considering he is check raising a jack (which you don't have) ? If he is one of those characters or has the right type of dynamic built, you can wait a medium amount of time and check turn to appear weak. He stabs on river and you can like 2.2x his bet to take down more. Honestly I feel like a lot of these heads up players are going to know you have at least AJ on the turn if you lead it.

Worst case scenario - He checks river and you token bet him.
