In theory aces is a good hand, but in practice it doesn't always win. Gotta go with what works.

Yeah i know you're ahead 99% of the time preflop against this guy. If you see a flop you could end up getting it in bad a lot. Get it in pre and take the edge there. Variance will do its thing but if you're ahead you'll win more than you lose.

And why is everyone being such jerks to the guy? People come to this site to discuss hands and look for advice. Not everyone is going to be on your level and sometimes it's not a terrible idea to look at alternative lines to take other than what is standard.

Sad how these types of threads always get the most answers.

Anyway, OBVIOUSLY get it in with aces against this guy for any amount of blinds. If he's getting it in with A766 preflop then you're basically burning money by not pushing that edge. I mean, you're being super results oriented. Getting that much money in with a 67% edge is just so awesome.
