Villain is a good reg who mixes up his game a lot and can easily do this play with KK FD type hand

$2/$4

Stacks:
Hero (BB) (~$1150)
SB (~$1400)

Pre-Flop: SB raises to 12 Hero is BB KJTTos raises to 36, SB calls

Flop: QxJx8h (Pot $72)
Hero bets $50, SB calls

Turn: QxJx8h9h (Pot $172) Hero bets $138, Vilain Raises 350, Hero calls

I called with the blockers here, as he shoves any blank otr 90% of the time, call vs shove?

River: QxJx8h9hQh($872) Hero has ~700 behind ??

turn call is very standard unless villain stacks with Tx or sets on turn.
on river i would probably jam. i dont see how he can have any hand to call you with here. if he has KT he will fold, if he somehow has nut flush or some random lower flush he will also probably fold because if he is a good reg he wont be able to find any hands you would bluff the river with other than maybe Tx straight. also i dont see how he can have a boat here unless he had a monster like straight+2pair/set

donīt like preflop, just call. hard to have a balanced 3betting range if you include this hand, it also doesnīt play well, esp that deep.

flop is good.
turn is good.
river is very tricky imo, i see merits in both betting and checking, although puska made some good points. if we bet though, i donīt really think it needs to be a jam, imo a smaller bet accomplishes quite the same.

Not sure why there's agreement on the turn play. We have the nuts, have two blockers, board is now drawy, we are OOP, and we are giving a free card with one bet behind? Why? Because we are hopethat he will bluff his busted draws/sets if we flat?

Pot it back, get the money in to charge draws and stop all this FPS.

I would just shove this turn.
Optimal in every way. You block the Tens with means villain is on a draw most likely.
Set, 2pairs +FD, Set+FD, non nut Straight+FD.
Just get it in on the turn.
