Villain is unknown.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
PL Omaha $0.10(BB) Poker Stars
SB ($9.80)
Hero ($11.43)
UTG ($7.83)
UTG+1 ($10)
CO ($12.69)
BTN ($10.84)

Dealt to Hero Q 5 8 A

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.20, fold, Hero calls $0.10

FLOP ($0.45) 3 4 2

Hero checks, BTN checks

TURN ($0.45) 3 4 2 2

Hero bets $0.35, BTN raises to $0.90, Hero calls $0.55

I totally think people at this limit can overvalue a 2 here (and that was my thought process at the time), they can also semi-bluff turned diamonds, so I should just 3bet the turn here, right?

I was afraid of them having boats at the time, but realistically, 23, 24 is a tiny part of their overall range, do you agree my turn call is too nitty?

Are people bad enough to stack off a bare 2 on the turn @ 10PLOZ? I take it the answer is yes... wouldn't surprise me at all.

Donk flop is viable with intention to fire all 3 barrels if board turns out okay.

I don't think many people at PLO10Z stack off a bare 2xxx there if you reraise turn, rr turn would be horrible.
Turn fold>>call>>>>>>>>>reraise
imo

I hate donking the flop.

Air is a huge part of villain's range, and he's very likely to cbet it.

Why would you donk flop?

Do you think villain calls overpairs, but wouldn't cbet them?

This is 10PLO, villain can super easily have a 2 on the turn, or diamonds (might be wrong about diamonds). He would very likely cbet better straights and sets on the flop, even 2pair would bet quite often I think.

Folding turn is totally out of the question imo.

I'd generally be calling turn and c/c most rivers. We're in a RIO spot, but I can't find a fold here. Wouldn't fault anyone for folding to the turn raise, though. I think 3-betting turn is bad: I want to pot control here in a kinda-WA/WB spot, not bloat the pot with what is now almost a bluffcatcher.

I just don't see sets/2pair or 65 checking the flop that often. I think we're way behind like 10%... I didn't realize that during the hand though.

But yeah, trips is a WAY larger part of villain's range. This is 10PLOZ vs an unknown. Half the player pool are fish. They will totally raise 2xxx here, thing is idk how they'll react to a 3bet.

Villain showed up with JJT2 or something fwiw.
