Hero (BTN/SB): $137.50
BB: $193.40

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is BTN/SB with 6 2 5 5
Hero raises to $3, BB raises to $9, Hero calls $6

Flop: ($18.00) 5 Q 4 (2 players)
BB bets $11.00, Hero raises to $30, BB calls $19

Turn: ($78.00) Q (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $21.00, BB calls $21

River: ($120.00) J (2 players)
BB bets $119.50, Hero ???

I'd been really aggro so far in the match and he's been much more reserved and hasn't been 3betting a ton. I don't think I've attacked any dry boards like this yet in our match. I'm pretty sure river is a fold, but wouldn't mind hearing thought on flop and turn mostly. It's bad, I know...

Added a second hand so I don't fill up all of ssplo. It's vs the same opponent later in the match. He's been pretty solid and I've been closer to the spewy side.

yeah hand number one is a fold mos def to a player thats pretty solid in plo that sucks i would of maybe bet the turn more but that is a scary turn card but its better to bet more and get raised off right there then to stack off on the river

scenario number two i def. bet call yeah u got the bottem end but u still got 2nd nut flush so its a bet call imo

How can you expect to bluff effectively when you value bet so small?

Definitely raise bigger on the flop and bet bigger on the turn. I'm quite torn on the river, it's probably a fold, but I don't see why he's just check-calling with a Q that he bet-called on the flop, and we only have $70 back....

Hand 2, start by checking and probably call any bet.

Hand 1 you have 100$ behind you in a 78$ pot and you bet 21$ you are pricing in A346 types of hands as well as QJT9 etc esp if Villain is b/c the flop he probably has TP or possibly 44 but I dont think he would jam the river with 44 knowing you raised the flop and it prd the turn as well as the river would make a more obv boat unless you think he has Q4xx or Q5xx but Q5xx seems less likely as you hold 55xx with a 5 on board. I am leaning towards him having a straightening hands like KQJT or QJT9. Muck it.

Hand #2

You are definitely giong to want to check here and possibly call a bet. I dont like to call big bets here because our str8 draw could be dead and we are looking for clubs and in the slightest chance that he holds nut clubs to Hero's second nut clubs we are doomed. I think it is better to see a free river card and if you do make the flush I think I c/c the river.
