These look ok? Turn bets fine?

This is villains first hand at the table. I assume he is a fish since he isn't full stacked.

In the 1st hand you say you assume the guy is a fish but call when he ships turn? How many fish ship hands that you beat here. I would say none! Most PLO fish ship 2 pair and better in my (limited) experience. This seems like a really straight forward fold.

With that logic I would say you played the 2nd hand fine.

I'd just played a hand where a guy c/r a turn with all draws after c/c the flop. That might have swayed me. I don't see how the 2 helps him.

I think if he is playing 50% of hands its very hard to rule a 2 out of his range. And as I say, fish very often overplay 2 pairs. I just can't see that you beat any hands in this spot.

My mistake on the 50% thing, but you still assume he is a fish so I would assume you don't beat anything in this spot.

i think this could go both ways, but i would probably check hand1 OTT and hand 2 looks like a b/f given 2 FD's but we have the best hand a lot probably like 1/2 the time and a oesd so maybe its a checkback since its pretty gross calling a raise ott..... can't really fault any line in hand 2 imo but i prefer a check if we are going to fold to a raise. if your betting AA ott your betting all your (made)hands so when u cback OTT u literaly have either nothing or a weak draw.

Unfortunately, it seems you got out flopped both hands. Though he may be a fish in hand one, I think he flopped 2pr and was waiting for a safe turn to get it in. The 2 qualifies. True enough he could be on a draw, but draws are going to c/r or b/3b flop for FE.

Think similar thing happened in the second hand, but very possible that villain picked up a fd to go with JT or with top pair, or even made two pair. At any rate, you have a bluff catcher and no draws so good fold.

1. Meh, but I think your line is best. I think he can be putting it in with enough draws or Q*** hands with the price your getting.

Hand1:
Standard until turn. Cbet is quite close with checkign behind since not many hands will fold and hands calling you are some type of pair+fd hands which are flipping anyway/ahead.
b/f turn your sizing is good on that brick. Dont call his all in.

Hand2:
Dont like it at all.

Again, cbetting okay, think checking is better here for reasons life3ps mentioned.
On the turn you should just check behind. he will check river if hes some loose passive fish and you might get a good river card or a free showdown.

So when you are not likely to get a fold and villain will likely have some pair draw combo you prefer a check behind rather than a bet? From there you are just hoping to see the showdown for free?
