Ok, main villain in this hand has taggish stats, 36/26 with an 8% 3bet, although i only have 29 hands on him. The cold caller is a fish, like 55/11. Is this a good spot to squeeze? I'm thinking that even if I get shipped on, I'll be in OK shape, and this looks so strong that BTN will fold a ton.

meh i think youll make more in the long run by flatting and playing postflop. yeah sometimes youll get folds but youll make more when you flop good and stack AA that cant fold

yeah i prefer to flat cause your hand rarely matches up with the other two guys hands which is important in its own right as far as outs.

i realize you lose the opportunity of initiative, but the hands you get it in with against him (times when you hit hard and he has to ship his overpair) you'll have great equity and you'll take his whole stack.

The great thing about flatting with this specific hand is that its weakness in flopping second best draws in multiway pots is offset by your relative position. When the flop comes 78Qdd and it goes ch/ch/bet/ship you can comfortably fold, conversely you can rep trips on paired boards by donking and putting the button's overpair in a very tough spot in between you and the sb. You really are going to be able to play close to perfect in this spot and as has been pointed out you don't have much fold equity in reality so to me flatting is the only play.

I only 4bet if I have seen villain fold to 4bets in the past, otherwise call and follow double eagle's post

That concept does not apply to PLO.
I guess you are a transitioning NL player.
