villian is on the tight side preflop-20/14 or so, but bad and splashy postflop. not looking so much on how to play this hand vs him, but more how you would size this hand on this flop texture while being oop.

I can't seem to find a bet size that I like that fits with the rest of my game and doesn't set up terribly for the turn. I tend to prefer to size bets small to leave playability since I usually don't mind playing later streets.

I basically never use the pot button, unless its to effectively put me all in at some point in the hand, but maybe I should start for spots like this.

Thoughts on how you would size the flop here?

posted up to my turn bet to show just how awkward I made it.

I just pot the turn if I want to go with it. Sucks though.

I can't come up with a reasoning why betting <pot opposed to pot would ever be advantageous OOP in a spot where everyone knows you never bet/fold, so I guess it's a mistake.

$34 on the flop makes it $110 on the turn w/ $146 left to play for on the turn.

This is more how I usually size these spots, and better than how I sized it this time, but I still don't think its that good.

Right now I'm leaning towards either just making a potting range or a $38 range. although If I'm going to bet that big I should probably just pot it. I just hate the idea making a bet that tells my opponent I'm never folding when they've only put in 10bb and I'm obviously willing to stick in 100bb no matter what. Feels like I'm just making the hand easy to play, mostly getting the money in slightly bad and not forcing any mistakes but maybe I'm missing something(or underestimating importance of collecting 21bb when they fold).

I could also bet $24 with my strongest wraps that don't really mind blank turns, and have very few if any bad turn cards so I can keep barreling on everything.

Then I can also be bet/folding hands with backdoor equity that "whiffed" this flop for that amount.
