So I was on the button in seat 8 with my stack around 120. V in question is the bb in seat 1 and has me covered. The hand was limped at 5 around so I joined in with AT57 with 1 suit to the ace. SB limps and BB calls. Pot is probably 25-30 with 5-6 callers.

This was the first table out of 4 running 1/2/5 PLO so the stacks were much more shallow and the game was friendlier all-around

Flop comes out 4d6c8c.
Dream flop basically, so the hand is checked to me and I make a position raise to 20 to take the pot down. sb folds, v in bb calls, everyone else folds

Turn is 9h
Flush misses, he checks and I pot it, committing the rest of my stack and he throws in 2 hundred dollar chips, and the stacks are in. We decide to run it twice

River is 10h, 2nd River is 4h

I show my straight on both boards, and V turns over 78TJ for top straight and we chop the 2nd board

The table then says that I was way behind, but I didn't believe it, and that's why I wanted some more input on this hand. He also did not end up having the flush draw which is what I thought. Maybe top 2 and flush draw or something like that. I also do not think this hand was misplayed, maybe it's a bet/fold on the turn, like a 45$ bet/fold on turn.

Thoughts on v, he is a tight asian, there everyday and you're almost never good going into a hand with him. Solid plo but not the best by any means.

well you both had the same hand but he had outs to improve and you didn't so you were behind on the turn.

On the flop you were ahead and you didn't bet enough on the flop. I think you should of pot the flop.

They basically meant your getting free rolled on the turn

So you believe I get everyone to fold if I make it 30 instead of 20 on the flop? Potting it is probably right but I was hoping to get called by the flush draw or a set/2pair on the flop. But those hands call the pot just like they call the 20 so yeah potting it on flop is probably better.

You were a 40-60 dog. The table was trying too hard.
