Vil is a reg, 21-17, seems solid, not too aggro. We don't have a dynamic to 3bet the flop here, so i decided to c/ship turns.
Do you just flat or ship this river?

3-bet flop and ship any non diamond turn. As played, I probably just call, but that is way nitty, I know.

Why not just 3bet the flop? Who cares about dynamic? there's enough draws out there to be worried about. 2 straight draws and a flush draw, so there's a lot of potentially dangerous turn cards.

I assume you didn't 3bet pre because of stack depth?

If you 3bet flop, and villain flats, turn is a
1. Diamond
2. Q/J/T
110$ effective, $110 in the pot, do you just ship it?

I don't want to see a diamond and probably check. The other option, I ship. We can't check and let a fd see the river for free. When called, we are obviously beat, but we do have the redraw. I am not sure, but the combination of turn FE and redraw outs probably make shoving non diamonds OK. It is never very profitable when an obvious draw hits vs our made hand, but we have to play the cards, so we should try to maximize our ev. I think this probably does that, but not sure.

By the river, isn't there two combos of AK and one combo of KK?

3 bet flop for value, you FLATTED PRE, so AAxx is usually discounted from players of these levels.

3betting the flop could have other sets, 2 pairs and str8 and flush draws in your range.

now that youve flatted pre, b/c flop, checked turn and lead river, a thinking opponent doesnt put you on much, so could be vbetting good fulls, quads, and its a decent spot for a bluff.

i get it in, if he shows you quads its pretty gross, and is just a cooler, nh

results?

i didnt flat pre come on guys its a limped flop.. its not like they are great hand readers and will put on me on a range that excludes AA**. I just didnt like the stack sizes that would be after 3betting flop, some sticky situations could happen. I think 3betting this flop is also a viable option.
I was hoping you would help me construct his range that raises river and calls my shove, given reads. My assumption that would be KK** and AK with diamonds. Yours?

I dont understand his turn check. Is he seriously scared of 35**?? If I were in his shoes I would be more likely to bet a hand like AK** than KK when there is a realistic chance that my opp. has a FH, as bet-folding AK** is a smaller mistake than bet-folding KK**. But im pretty confused in this river. I guess 3betting this river is the most EV+ thing as he will call thinking your splitting most of the time with AK.
