6/30 I was 262.

This morning 7/18 I'm 249.

Haven't been doing anything special. Just tracking cals to around 2,300 a day and keeping carbs under 100g a day.

That's something special. It's like saying "I suddenly got really good at basketball. Haven't been doing anything special, just shooting around a few hours a day 5 days a week for the past few years."

Compared to how I used to "diet" this new way is a piece of cake. Thanks for the encouragement though.

Lately been averaging a diet that is like

40-50g fat

90-120g carb

180-240g protein

16-190 cals

Is that good or do I need more fat? I eat chicken breast each day for lunch and dinners rotate between various proteins- more chicken, pork, fish, ground turkey, little red meat (a lot less than I used to)

Yeota,

You're fine, def no need to augment your fat intake. If you're getting too hungry and finding compliance tough, eat some more food. But don't go searching for extra fat.

Yeah def not too hungry. Usually eating out of necessity for fuel more than hunger at this point. (who thought I'd say that)

And it tastes delicious.

I dont see any harm in Yeota swapping out the odd chicken breast for thigh, or salmon, or a fattier cut of beef or pork. Good for the hormones, tastes good, high satiety, looks like he is getting slightly more than 1g/lb of LBM of protein. Not so much about hunting out extra fat, but having a bit of freedom to get some variety in there. Calories are still king.
