Can you drive while your drunk or high?

One of my friends is Jeff Gordon behind the wheel when he gets drunk. And me... When I smoke Weed, I would have to say that it makes me a better driver. That's because I just put more focus into it and I am paying 100% attention to the road.

I'm decent, have seen way better, but also way worse.

I'm amazing when I drive drunk. It could be art. Sometimes I even have to cover one eye in order to drive fast and not feel overwhelmed.

Driving while high was wayyyyy harder for me than driving after a few drinks (I say was because I haven't smoked in 2-3 years).

Everyone thinks they are OK when they drive drunk because nothing happens. It's easy as **** to drive. And usually when people are drunk there's not many other cars on the road, and there's no issue. The problem with drunk driving is when something unexpected happens. This is when your reaction time is slow, and when an accident occurs.

Ya some people get drunk and drive absolutely ******edly and speed around, but they are extremely dumb.

I've never driven drunk. I think I'd be bad at it. I don't see a reason to find out, though. But, now that I'm 21, I'll give it a shot and let everyone know how it goes

i never speed at all and am only on roads where the max speed limit is 35 so im usually fine. once i took a U-turn too wide and blew my tire- let me say that changing a tire at 4 am while drunk is very hard to do...

Never driven drunk, but if I did I'd prob be going 5mph in the middle of the road. Not sure if that's good or bad.

I own a breathalyzer and there's been two instances where I've been out drinking and drove home. Both times I drove perfectly fine and was very clear headed. Both times I blew a .15 too when I got home. F the legal limit imo.

First time I ever drove high me and my two friends decided to make a spur of the moment, 5 hour drive to Turning Stone at 2 AM. I smoked while we were leaving, and not only did I keep losing my focus to stare at random **** like fire hydrants, but I was mildly swerving around the rode and just overall driving like a dumbass (stopping at green lights...always do this when I'm high). On top of this, we parked at some 7/11 right off the highway, and my friend pointed out how my engine was smoking. I looked at my dial and my car was overheating. So I was like **** it let's just go home. However, I couldn't even make it 1/4 mile down the road without severely overheating again. I was really baked at this point and just freaking out. I ended up making it to a gas station and they filled me up with anti-freeze. This made my car okay for like 95% of the round trip. Turns out I had a hole in my radiator though. But now, driving high is only ever so slightly harder than driving sober.

i dont do it often but i am an expert. drive approx 5mph over the speed limit. dont do it if the distance is more than a ~10 min drive. stay off the highway.

no idea what my BAC has ever been but I highly doubt its ever been over ~.12 while driving.

also i trust friends to drive stoned if they smoke a lot but i do not like driving stoned myself.

Hahaha I knew people were like this. I was going to start a thread asking what normal type task you thought you were an 'expert' at. Like are you ever walking through a supermarket or a crowded street, weaving through people like its your job and thought to yourself, "Damn, I am really good at walking."

People who honestly believe they are awesome at drunk driving are ****ing ******ed. How do you judge this? "I haven't killed anyone or myself!!" "I haven't gotten a DWI!!" "One time I couldn't even walk but I got home somehow and I don't remember but I must be really good because I got home!"

I really hate people who are naive enough to think they are great at driving while intoxicated. For your sake and everyone else's, I hope you are right.

I am afraid that answering this question truthfully would likely jinx a stellar 30 year drinking and driving career.

killa's culling is going to be a lot worse if all the morons get themselves banned before it even begins.
