How you raise a cow effects taste = intuitive.

But veal, is the counter offered to the above by a Yanklandian.

The shame.

Its like Veal is not raised in a very specific way that makes it taste different to older cows raised in a another way,,,,,jfc, just cant stop laughing at this.

Its won the internet, dumbest perspective ever communicated.

Trump is the President you deserve.

Why don’t you educate us? What is it about the pasture that makes the cow taste better?

It is the low energy, low protein diet that ensures that your cattle is old and tough by the time it gets to the dinner table that makes pasture finished cattle absolutely wonderful for steak.

It is also more healthful for human consumption due to the extra chewing you will have to do.

OAF would no doubt properly educate all of us, but alas the language barrier is just too much for him to overcome.

LOOOOOOOOOOL.

Yanklandians ladies and gentlemen. Amazing.
What's amazing is how you post a random pic from wherever and claim that is all of America and it only happens in America.

Despite having no less than 10 Americans tell you that there are plenty of cow pastures in the USA, you go on and on and call us wrong. Apparently people who's seen this stuff is less dependable than random photos on the internet. I've never seen a place like you posted, so I'm just going to assume someone took that photo in China and called it the USA, because why not use lame logic as well?

Incredible.

1. Please post where I say there are no pastures in America? You cant because I did not.

2. What I actually dispute is that ALL cows have a pasture to grain life cycle. This is just a fact. Many cows bread for steak (in all domains) will not see grass and hardly any grain if at all, they will be fattened on basically pure sugar. They might see sawdust and all sorts of really cheap foodstuffs. This is industrial farming. Of course some cows will see grass and corn etc, which is why meat has grades of quality. All of the above variants effect the taste/texture of the meat/steak

3.When it comes to the pics I posted. Remember the bit when you all chided Jalfrazi for not getting obvious sarcasm. That sarcasm coming in form of a pics about steaks? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, you utter muppets. Yes I obviously meant it was ALL AMERICA......hahahahahahahahahahhahahahah.

That said all I did was post the pic, no where at do I get withing a million miles of any of the claims you attribute me with.

Amazing, that one photo soul owned you.

He is disputing that eating pasture AT ALL has any effect on the quality of the meat. He is disputing a simple reality.

No where do I say cows should be finished on pasture.

I dispute that all cows used for steak have a pasture to grain life cycle. Many have much poorer diet quality than that. That is true in America and England.

The degree to which several poster got bent out of shape by two photo's is amazing.

No need for language, just post a pic in what you would think was super mega obvious sarcasm to even the most challenged reader and Yanks will then proceed to imagine lots of words you never said.

Do you want educating that the sky is blue?

By all means if you think you can produce a cow steak that the market views as a high a quality as grass fed (and corn finished) via cheaper alternatives that allow for more industrial processes you should get into farming now and make an absolute killing.

You would own farming as you would crush on price and competitiveness.

As it is some cows fed on particular pastures attract a premium because its taken as an absolute given by anyone remotely concerned with the meat business that those particular pastures provide a given desired taste to the meat.

But yea, I am done arguing the super controversial argument that what a cow eats effects its quality.

Of course what a cow eats affects quality. And so does how active it is. What medicine it’s given. It’s genetics. And a whole bunch of other things.

It’s all very complicated which seems to be the part that’s completely beyond you.

I also like how you snuck in the corn bit. Which of your original two pictures are more likely to involve feeding corn to the cow?

You are the one who has spent the last few pages disputing the first sentence. Again try to read better, because you utterly suck at it. Where do I say eating pasture is the 100% determinant of quality? Such a statement does not parse anyway because quality is not binary.

Thank **** you have finally given up arguing against the totally imagined, be nice to cows argument.

Diet though is one of the single biggest determinants in the final taste/quality of meat.

Im debating the slowest people on the internet.

Also LOOOOOL cant believe you are still referencing the photo's.

JFC.

You literally need someone to walk you through this thread.

Lol. You keep walking back your dumbass two picture post. I’m sure you’ll convince someone that you knew what the **** you were talking about. At no point did I say diet didn’t affect the taste.

And how does my post claim or imply that quality is binary? English, mother ****er, do you speak it?

We’re referencing them because they showed you have no idea what you’re talking about.

But, ok, cool. You’ve clearly demonstrated your mastery of animal husbandry so I guess I’ll just concede.

Although, obviously, after Brexit, we'll be fighting for the last potato thrown off the back of the army truck like Germans in 1945.
