2. 92% of Beer drunk in Germany is made domestically, with only 8% of it being imported. Of that 8% a negligible amount is from USA and most of that will be mass market beer. American craft beer sales in Germany are niche in the extreme.

3. The idea that Germany wants to borrow Yank innovation to defend against against the Yank beer invasion is just dumb and pissing into the winds of objective reality.

4. The "complaints" by German brewers actually comes from a press release from a ex Pat Yank who wanted to start importing more American beer into Germany.

Also the idea that I am ignorant of Yank beer is silly. Sure I am no expert on it, but must be in the top 1% of non Yank consumption of Yank beer. Under normal conditions I would accept that this might still have left me unqualified to talk about Yank beer, but by your own and other proclamations, Yank beer is so great in its ubiquity that it basically rains world class beer in Yanklandia. If that was true its a 100% lock I would have drunk some of it by now.

The USA is all about capitalism, ego, hero, fake (though open), low business moral, economic survival, over-eating. Much of Europe is way better (though half of Romanian men think rape is okay when the girl is drunk or so, and 25%+ think so in Europe generally, but in Scandinavia, Holland and maybe Spain) and the players are on average better.

America's gonna have to concede the beer competition here because Belgium has the best beer in the first world. Czech Republic provides the best bang for your buck though.
