Is this true? If I were to list the places I thought had the best hospitals I don't think Boston would even be a consideration.

Thank you for containing R*R. Absolutely the right call, and long overdue. That kind of high volume idiocy is especially egregious in a mod, for the simple reason that they can't be ignored. I would have put him on ignore a while ago, and I've only - Say, how do you find out who you have on ignore?

Having the best hospitals in the world would obviously attract a ton of desperate sick ****ers. Is that the demographic anyone wants in a city?

I'll make this one post and then I'm out of here.

I think I have contributed some good posting in OOT but there was some real dumb stuff too. It's the only forum I tend to do this. I'm fairly new to OOT so I suppose I didn't understand the boundaries and I had never received a warning about might posting.

But it is all on me and Larry made the right decision. I apologize to the Mods of OOT for making them even have to consider making this decision. I mod NVG and for several years the vlogger thread in LVL so I understand that a crappy poster can make things difficult.

There are some really great posters in OOT and some amazing threads. I wish you all the best!

I'll grab my coat.

I mean, you mostly posted in the containment thread anyway...

Baltimore has a ton of great hospitals. Probably the best per capita.

I'm guessing this is being a bit facetious, but most people traveling for medical conditions probably have a serious, but non-communicable disease
10-11-2019 , 05:08 PM
Didn't Utopia have lots of really good hospitals?
10-11-2019 , 05:37 PM
R*R apologized via PM and seems to genuinely want to improve and contribute. Given he is a mod of cesspools, I think he should be able to recognize bad posting and avoid it in the future.

If he posts badly again then containment will probably just be permanent because hes seemingly high volume in that thread and no where else in recent history.

Can someone explain comparing NYC to Boston?

I've been to NYC 5-7 times this year and have been there maybe 20 times total in my life. I'm originally from MA and have lived in downtown boston area for the last 8 years. So I'm decently familiar with both places.

Other than proximity on a map, theres almost nothing directly comparable between the two places to me, yet people compare them all the time so I must be missing something.

New York doesn't have a winning NFL team.

People like comparing things?

It's cos baseball's still king.

I have no idea if you're kidding or not. Not just now, mind you.

Happy Friday, all! Hope you all have a wonderful long weekend.

Not sure why anyone outside of Boston would have ever given a single thought to their hospitals.

If you're being intentionally obtuse, bravo. Otherwise,

Imo, obtuse is thinking everyone in USA#1 thinks about if their Metro area has the best hospitals or not.

I personally have excellent and world renowned hospitals within 60 miles of my home. It has never once dawned on me to compare them to other areas of the nation, however.

Seems odd to me that people take pride in such a thing.

If your hospitals are better than mine though, well, then:

I don't think you're proving whatever you think you're proving.

Proximity, relative old age, and historical significance I’d guess.

Imo they’re very different cities and I enjoy them both for very different reasons.
