I had pepperoni pizza recently and it was pretty damn greasy. It was still mostly good but I could def. do without that much grease.
I grew up needing to use napkins to dab the school pizza because it had huge puddles of grease so anything less than school pizza greasy doesn't really bug me.

I’m for some reason not seeing the problem here, GM.

Fun fact:

The area code for Cape Canaveral, FL is (321).

I wouldn’t expect much different from you. Sadly, I might add!

Going to the theater during peak times sucks. Wait until the movie has been out for a couple weeks then go in the afternoon on a Tuesday. It'll be basically empty. You get the big screen experience without all the annoyances.

While I agree, the most annoying part was that the movie had been out for quite some time, Once upon a time in Hollywood, and we went on a slow time.

I guess some people *cough* just suck.

Please tell me someone didn't complain about the word whorebible.

Remember Battlefield Earth? Before I knew anything about L. Ron and his minions, I thought it was an okay story. Read it many times as a teenager. Then John Travolta made it into a movie. I thought, hey, this might be good. I saw it on the weekend after it's Thursday night release, alone, on Saturday afternoon.

Turns out my single ticket was a significant percentage of the overall sales that weekend.

All this just to say, I could have taken my shoes off and no one would have cared!

Needed to replace my non-stick skillet since **** started sticking. Ordered a new one from amazon and it was delivered yesterday. Opened it and stuck the old pan in the box and put it outside at the front door this morning figuring I’d take it to the dumpster on my next trip out.

Went to pick up dinner and some dipshit stole it. Losers. I hope you enjoy your eggs sticking to the worn out pan.

karma!

Saved you a trip to the dumpster.
Thief got a shitty pan.

What's not to love about this?
I would start saving all brand-name boxes, filling them with my crappiest and heaviest discards, and setting them outside my door.

Josie,

The crime-fighting, online poker team name has been settled. Whores of the Orient Express!

i've attempted listening to the audio version of this about 3-4 times... am never able to do it because i just find my mind wandering and phasing it into background noise, next thing i know I've been listening for 20 minutes and have no idea what's happening

maybe i need to actually read it but i was actually really looking forward to "reading" it because it's considered one of the all time classics of scifi

still haven't seen the movie

Soooo this guy posted on Twitter about his daughter needing spinal surgery, blah blah blah.

He always likes my tweets so I felt the need to say something nice/supportive. Ok. Then I go the extra mile and say that his daughter, who I assume is in his twitter pic is a cutie (tho she’s fugly).

Why do I do this?

Spoiler alert: I’m an idiot. See below.

Now in my defense, here’s the pic:

this is by many considered the definitive list, so much that people have bundled all the audiobooks contained within into a part part series found via torrents or so I've heard

Why do idiots always double down and talk out of their ass without doing any research? I googled "best science fiction books" and the following pages came up well before your list (which was at the bottom of the fourth page.)

Way to go, Joisie,

I nearly made a similar blunder decades ago when I was invited to a home poker game by some colleagues at work. They rotated homes weekly and served dinner. It was pretty sweet! But the first game I attended a gray haired lady opens the door, welcomes me, and invites me inside. The first thing out of my mouth was going to be, "You must be Alton's mother." Good thing I went to Plan B ("Good evening" or something just as lame) as it was his wife.

I feel your pain. There but for the grace of hesitation (and low tolerance for risk), go I.

Excellent question! That’s where I went wrong. No clue except I was baked in a 420 kinda way.

I’m mortified. I responded to him w a “Cradle-robber!”

Sometimes the best defense is offense.
