I'm number one until someone de-thrones me (shouldn't take long.)

I subscribed to Netflix. Spent time figuring out which plan I wanted. Decided on the 2 DVD package for ~$14/month.

Ordered and received my two DVD's before I realized that we don't have a DVD player.

Understand that this isn't in my top 100 of all time, but it's the best I got in August, '09.

Well you obviously have a computer, and the computer likely has a dvd drive attached to it, so it's not like it was a complete waste.

I'm so sick of Hannah Montana. It was great the first 5 times I watched all the episodes, but now I'm just looking for something new.

I'm noticing that I'm the only person to do anything stupid this month. I just put myself out there, and now I'm paying the price. That's ok. One day I'll tell you what I did back in October of '97.

I set up an short term project with a company and when the guy asked me about salary requirements I told him that money wasn't as important, and I probably would have done it for free. Expert negotiating.

Yeah, me too, but I also grew up in Alaska.

I meant Georgia. Same thing.

I went to the supermarket, spent about 20 minutes shopping and picked out about 15 items. I waited in line, went through the self checkout, had bagged all my goods, clicked the payment button and then realized I had left my wallet at home, and had no credit card or cash on me. The self checkout guy was not pleased and I left in shame.

Although I think it would have been worse had it been a real checkout line.

I ordered 20 boxes of gushers and 20 gatorades when I came home drunk and did an online grocery order one night this month.

I had a bb gun around that age, but I was an only child and was pretty much relegated to shooting at cans in the backyard. If I had a sibling and we both had bb guns, there almost certainly would've been bb gun wars.

Don't see how this is anywhere near stupid. Fruit Gushers are like the greatest candy ever.

Probably this guy:

ST. AUGUSTINE - Authorities say a St. Augustine man on trial for sexual battery charges apparently killed himself before learning the verdict: not guilty.

A St. Johns County judge became concerned Thursday when 57-year-old William Telano Evans didn't show up for the reading of the verdict. The judge sent deputies to find Evans but let the jury read its verdict without him present. Evans, never hearing the verdict, was found at his home minutes later dead of a gunshot wound.

Evans was arrested in 2004 after a now-38-year-old woman reported that he began routinely molesting her about 29 years ago when she was 9 or 10.

My effort to try to dethrone the "I don't own a DAD player" guy (and no...cheering for the Pirates is not the stupid part):

GF and I got our Pirates gear and got in the car to head down to PNC Park to take in a game. She was iffy about wanting to go because she was tired but I talked her into it, "c'mon...it's a nice night. We should go out."

We get to the downtown parking garage and noticed there were cars driving back and forth on Roberto Clemente bridge (usually closed for automobiles on game days and reserved for pedestrian traffic only). GF says, "are you sure the Pirates are playing tonight?" "Of course I'm sure. LDO." Ummm, uh-oh. I don't see anyone walking around with Pirates stuff on either. Check the schedule on my little internet thingee on my cell phone and..... Oops. The Pirates weren't playing that night. My GF laughed hysterically at my ******edness of course and enjoyed calling me an idiot over and over.

You win.

Come on who wears the team's gear to a game you do not want to be That Guy.

Dids - Huh? Now it's wrong to wear a team's logo or colors or something to a sporting event? I have a hat that I got for free a few weeks earlier that was a giveaway item at one of the games. My GF has a jersey and a hat. "That Guy" is the majority of fans attending the game.

In other news: When we went to a couple Penguins hockey games last year I think over 99% of the fans were wearing a jersey or shirt (mostly for the Penguins of course but always a handful for the visiting team or some other random team). I was one of the very small minority that wasn't wearing a jersey. Felt like I was sticking out a little.

I personally think it's just corny as hell, and that everybody else does it is exactly the reason why somebody shouldn't.
