do not waste your money on the truffle and sea salt chips. i'm a big fan of mushrooms of all types, including truffles, but there's just something about the flavor that isn't right.

Devastating news, had high hopes here. What’s the other options again that sounded intriguing?

habanero lime and dill pickle. salt and black pepper is always a very solid choice.

sorry about your family's lava licking accident...seriously hope your insurance covers the tongue transplants

The Dill Chips prolly are the best if I had to guess.
I got the Krinkle Cut Dill Chips today and they are ****ing amazing! They indeed taste just like a pickle but in CHIP FORM. They were an excellent addition to my chicken cutlet hero, lettuce, tomato, mayo, with mozzarella.

My pickle consumption has been steadily increasing. I got one of those BIGASS jars last week and it's been glorious.

It's one of those crazy tall ones. I had to remove a shelf to fit it in my fridge.

The all pickle diet is coming closer to fruition!

What brand? For some reason I have bubbies, Sonoma Brinery, and multiple jars of Claussen in the fridge. I would still smash a gas station or movie theater hot dog though.

Just normal Vlasic. I usually go for fancier fare like Bubbies (those picks are so damn good), but I was simply taken aback by the size of this Vlasic jar.

I said out loud, "I gotta have that."

I love some good cheap cheap Best-Maid pickles too. Vlassic doesn't have crunch, sour, or flavor I want.

We're giving a pickle for the first time to our 8 month old tonight and I'm legit stoked.

Vlassic is very good and does indeed have a nice crunch. I pickled up a jar myself last week!

Boar's head is my go-to, they are so addictive I could easily spend $50/month on pickles. Who was the guy who spent like $90 a month on olive oil and needed help budgeting? That was classic OOT.

indeed!

back to the truffle krinkles. let's just say my initial position has softened a bit (mostly 'cause i hate to spend money on eatin' food and not eat it).
my initial impression and reaction was right after opening the bag when the flavor was strong like hulk, more like the bottom of his feet after running through the woods wearing hulkmade jorts and nothing else.
plucked a few out of the bag last night and either the flavor has mellowed because either they've been open and it's dissipated, or my tongue has become indifferent and numb to it. willing to admit i ate a few more.
either way, i still won't buy them again but gotdammit i'm gunna finish the bag.

Your description makes me think like a very vegetal, smelly, funky earthy profile. I love that stuff, funky smelly, beers, wines, whiskeys rums. Really smelly funky cheeses, damn sign me up.

Thanks for the review. I will not be purchasing this item now.

it does have a very vegetal, smelly, earthy, funky flavor profile and i also typically love that stuff. just not this time for some reason.

Maybe it seems kind of artificial with these chips which than yeah I could see why it’s a pass.
