A base of cornbread dressing with onions and celery, several slices of real turkey on top liberally covered in giblet gravy. Simmered baby carrots. Green beans with chunks of ham (or bacon).

Or

A sun-dried tomato and basil ham and Lacy Swiss cheese sandwich and a bowl of Chicken and wild rice or tomato bisque soup.

Greek meatballs, called dolmathes, or dolma.

It's meatballs made with ground lamb, rice and spices. You make the meatballs out of those ingredients, and then wrap them in grapevine leaves and simmer them for hours in a brothy lemony sauce. Served hot, they are the most delicious thing i've ever had. My grandmother makes them every holiday, and it's amazing.
