I really wanted to take the highbrow road and say it's "Dr. Strangelove", but I can't put "Dumb and Dumber" in the corner. Strangelove is #2 for me, but D&D is perfect.

Hon. mention to "The Jerk" and "Superbad", 2 movies that blew my expectations away.

Edit: Also, my opinion as a Canadian counts for 2 American votes since every funny person in the States originated in Canada.

Edit 2: 1.5 votes, Sorry 'bout Martin Short. Not sure what happened there. He was good once... really.

I never understood why Cable Guy was lambasted when it came out. It's not one of the best comedies ever, but it's better than average.

Loved most all of chows work. they all have a big heart even though most of them could use a heavy trim job.

I remembered Kung Fu Hustle bec it just came on a channel and I watched it again. Every scene is good, if it was a drama it'd be considered one of the top movies of all time. If anyone reading this thread likes comedies and hasn't seen it I highly recommend it.

Ugh Pootie Tang. I love Louis CK as much as anyone else, but I couldn't sit through 30 minutes of this movie.

Maybe it's just one of those so bad it's funny movies?

Catch-22 had too much stupid slapstick, trying hard to be a comedy. Kelly's Heroes didn't have any of that.
