What is your favorite beer? What is your favorite beer?

I like beer. I like beers that taste good. Specifically, my favorite beer is Sapporo, which goes really well with my favorite food, sushi.

I also like Heineken, Amstel Light, Blue Moon, lost of Dogfish beers, and Guinness.

What do you like?

Killians Irish Red sticks out in my mind. Most beers dont leave that much of an impression but it was pretty sweet and tasty. Ive only had Blue Moon a few times and its pretty damn good.

my favorite beer of all is sam adams' oktoberfest. i can only get it 3 months out of the year, but right before they take it off the shelf, i'll usually buy 4 or so cases and save at least a 6 pack all the way up until my birthday in march.

regular sam adams is also good, and the cherry wheat stuff is not bad either. i'll drink heineken and guinness (although for the latter, i have to be in the mood), as well as yuengling and newcastle, although if i had to choose a beer, i'll go with sam adams first and foremost, followed by heineken.

i can't stand fosters, and many of the popular american beers (bud et all, miller, coors) just don't hold up to sam adams to me, which imo has a full flavor.

corona (with a lime) is my beer of choice for cinco de mayo, other than that one day, i don't really drink it. guiness is of course my st patty's beer of choice.

Its weird how Heineken always comes up in these threads. Here in Britain its considered a step above Fosters and Carling and marketed really down the scale but Americans seem to love it.

I suspect cos Budweiser is considered an acceptable beer to order, but maybe you guys have something better that they make and market to you guys?

Anyway, Hoegaarden and Staropramen beers i name pretty regular in these threads as they are my go to expensive brews, but Duvel is a good one too. Trappist beers such as Rochefort and La Trappe are worth checking out if you want something with some history and story to it but they may be hard to get in America i suppose.

Oh and since im not the first to mention it i actually really like Corona. Chilled really low and served with no lime its awesome.

Sapporo is indeed pretty awesome.

I've been getting Twilight summer ale for the past few weeks and liking that a lot as well.

Guiness is good too.

I like the kind that doesn't taste like horse piss sifted through a dirty sock.

Oh wait. Never mind, that's all beer.

i'm pretty sure bud light lime was born because budweiser had a bad batch of beer, and someone there came up with the idea of trying to disguise the terrible flavor with lime.

For fans of IPAs I had a STONE IPA last night and it was probably the best I'd ever had. Incredibly hoppy. Even better than the Dogfish which I really enjoy. Might be my favorite American beer. I'll frequently buy a bottle of Chimay for a night of relaxed drinking. As far as other more massed-produced stuff is concerned I really enjoy Weihenstephaner.

I love Sam Adams as well, and my favorite of their beers is the Old Fezziwig Ale. Unfortunately I can only find it 2 months out of the year and have to buy 10 beers I don't want to get 2 of them because they only come in a variety pack. It makes me physically angry what I have to do to drink that beer that I so enjoy.

Really depends on my mood, weather, situation.

RIght now Im bbq'ing in 90 degree weather and a Pacifico with lime is my go to.

Yesterday I did a brewery tour of Ft Collins CO. Not a huge fan of the New Belgium Brewing CO beers, they are all a bit overdone.

HUGE fan of Odell Brews. My current favorite is Odell Nitro Cutthroat Porter. Delicious, but not a beer for a hot afternoon bbq...

My previous favorite was Maui Brewing Co, CoConut Porter.

Sapporo, Michelob Amber Bock, (pretty much any bock), Corona, Blue Moon, Lienenkugel's Sunset Wheat, Lienenkugel's Summer Shandy, basically any "oktoberfest" variant. Ambers are probably my favorite. Mmmmmm, beer.

I had a beer with lunch today and was going to get something fancy, but the fancy beers went up to like $14 freaking bucks a bottle!!!!

Guinness was fancy enough.

Newcastle is my favorite widely available beer.

Excellent choice. I expected something like Old Style and was shocked at how good this was (not having ever been in Wisconsin until a couple of months ago).
