Yeah Fall is already the best time of year, and when you add all the oktoberfest seasonals it's just the ****.

I thought regular Sam Adams lager was pretty nasty. But I don't think I'm a fan of lagers. Miller Lite is a decent quantity-over-quality piss beer.

first time i tried sam adams, i couldn't stand it, too hoppy. i thought guiness was pretty nasty too. over the years though, my palate changed, heck, when i drank my first beer (bud ice or bud light or something like that) i thought that was nasty too, think over the years i just developed a taste for a flavorful beer rather than the watered down types.

now i'm counting down the days until sam adams' octoberfest is on the shelves (2 more weeks!)

I'm very jealous of those that said Pliny the Younger and Westerleven 12.

Mine is Cigar City's Hunaphu Imperial Stout and Kern River's Just Outstanding IPA

We're lucky to have so many excellent micro breweries in CO, Avery is very good as well.

My overall favorite is St. Bernardus Abt 12. Pretty expensive, but hands down the best beer I've had.

Working in a beer store I get a great perc. in that I get to attend great non-public beer tastings, last one I went to was Michigan brewers only.

Bells, North Peek, Arcadia Ales, Founders, Michigan Brewery etc, the big names.

Found out I really don't like IPA's what-so-ever. I like wheat beers/porters/stouts.

Etc. Etc.

This is awesome, but the stuff I've had over here of the same label came nowhere close to what I had in France. Looking at your location, it looks like you are drinking the good stuff.

Those are my favorite as well. If a bar doesn't have BM or ST on tap I'll usually ask if they have any Belgian Whites on tap.

Its a cultural thing. They think budwesier and miller are beer, compared to those heineken might be the the nuts. None of which compares to beer.

Heineken is good when it's ice cold once it starts to get warm it's no longer any good.

i'm guessing maybe the heiniken in america is different than in other parts of the world maybe? i do know that happens sometimes, guiness being the obvious one (tastes much different in ireland according to family that went over there).

Samuel Smith's Extra Stout.

I think it's only available in England. I had some when I visited there at an old London pub that had been around since the 1600s or 1700s. Fan-****ing-tastic.
