Just picked up some Breakfast Stout by Founders.

By far the best stout I've ever had.

Dead Guy Ale
Boulevard Wheat
Old Rasputin Imperial Stout
Spaten Optimator, Lager, Oktoberfest

Probably going to roll with Dead Guy at the tailgate party tomorrow to kick off the season.

What's the problem?

For me, most beers taste good only with food. This one is one of the few exceptions:

Waaaaaaaaaait....how? IIRC that's a winter seasonal and they sell out like super duper fast.

And it would be difficult for me to argue that it isn't the best stout out there.

Breakfast Stout is fall. Canadian Breakfast stout is coming out next month.

I like wheatbears.

My favourite ones are Hoegarden and Edelweiss.

Anyone ever have the Bonfire Rauchbier? Its in the Sam Adams Octoberfest pack, tastes pretty stong/weird at first and i love basically all types of sam adams. Might have to get used to it.

I'm kind of surprised by all the Hoegaarden love itt. To me it tasted exactly like Miller Lite.

I picked up a sixer of Lienenkugel's Oktoberfest and St. Arnold Oktoberfest today to do a comparison and I think the St. Arnold is better. Not impressed by Lienens. It's about similar to Sam Adams' Okt.

Hard to decide so I'm going to say Fat Tire.

Kokanee, if its good enough for a sasquatch than its good enough for me. Though Stella is also pretty good.

Trying alot of different stouts/porters lately.

I'd say this was my favorite.



Had an awesome smell or caramel. Thought it's supposed to be a vanilla stout, but either way was awesome beer. One of my favorites.

Another one I can't find a picture of, maybe because it's fairly new was the Souther Tier Mok-ha (sp). It's a mix of their Choklat and Jah-va. That was really good too. But didn't really get the Mocha, or even Java type taste to it that I really like.

Huge in flavor, was kinda deceived thinking Imperial would be TOO much for me, but I greatly enjoyed it without much hassle, wouldn't drink after a large meal though lol, with a chocolate bar it was awesome.

Next I wana try is an oatmeal stout,

But at the moment only access is to a 6 pack of breckinridge oatmeal stout, and I just don't want that much.

Sorry. Boring. But bud light in the blue aluminium bottles is still my number 1. Reminds me of being in Vegas

Just got back from the bar right by my house. Got these for $1.99 each. Going to try them tonight or tomorrow along with Elysium and Pumpking.

just had a stone IPA and some pulled pork sliders at a lunch with my dad.

Stone and Lagunitas just keep cranking out hits imo
