I just copied mine from my Party Poker account. At the time my highly evolved 18 year old brain was thinking, 'I'm good at pokers' so Cardshark obv! But that sn was taken so I added my favorite number, 4. That was taken too so I added 04. That was taken too, wtf! Then I added the extra k, because it has the added connotation of pocket kings. Boom! The beginnings of great screen name! I still have two friends who call me cardshark IRL to troll me. FML.

LFS stands for Los Feliz Slim. Los Feliz is the neighborhood in Los Angeles where I lived when I registered during the hold em boom. So it's a play on Amarillo Slim.

I changed it to LFS because:

1) Most people said LFS anyway.
2) Random people in LA kept asking if I wanted to hang, which creeped me out.
3) I got fat and moved to Glendale and didn't like the name Glendale Fats.

I couldn't think of anything and I didn't really care that much. I had written down "D10" on a piece of paper referring to the parking spot of a helicopter I needed (row D, spot 10) and it was sitting near my computer when I registered so I saw it and thought "sure why not." I left the "d" lowercase cause I was too lazy to hit shift. I've since realized it's a good anti-doxxing measure because I can use the same username across multiple forums, it's unique enough that it's always available, and I can tell people "I'm d10 on Forum A and Forum B" which is useful, but my posts will never be top google search results if you try searching for me.

My original name was WhiskyRiver (join date sometime in '03, maybe '04) after the Willie Nelson song, but there was (is?) a prolific poster with same name, different spelling and we were posting in common threads often, so I changed to Hey_Porter, a Johnny Cash song.
