tons of posts seem to be missing from the threads that were bumped last night (pretty much everything but the OP and the bump onwards)

it's being looked at. post all your other complaints/issues etc in about the forums.

normally stuff gets put into the archives after a year of inactivity. but because of the upgrade threads that had been inactive for as little as 2-3 months would have got put in there. so some classic threads (subjective i guess) were bumped. but it seems to have backfired heh, hopefully they can be salvaged.

I don't know how to use this new forum software. I missed when threads would have for example, 67 (1) to let you know there were 67 total posts in a thread and one was new. I don't see that now, I am bad with computers

Yeah, I saw that and it fixed the prob. I must be doing something wrong w/ the mountain thing. The pop-up window shows up but I can't paste into it and I'm using Firefox on both Windows XP and my Mac.

Oh hey guys I found this great tool, it might help figure out with which ones you want to read

At the middle there is the "Forum Tools" tab, click on it and then click "Mark this forum read"

This will change ALL theads to already read! So you don't have to click every individual thread like I did. Then it's easy to see which posts are new.

another awesome thing is the ability to easily see who has multiple accounts. like why does los feliz slim have ~6 gimmick accounts? and don't bother with the 'i am a long-standing poster here but decided to post this on a new account' threads. i will take glee in outing you.
