We have a "want to quit alcohol" thread, but what about the rest of us?

What about the ones of us who give in to our drinking proclivities?

I drank more , way more, in one session while in my 20s. I was known to drink a fifth of vodka every other night for a month straight. I would be so sick the next day I wouldn't touch a drop. But when I recovered? Rinse and repeat.

In my 40s currently? It's more of a slow titration. Way less at a time but everyday.

This is a thread for the unabashed, unapologetic drinker.

I already drank a half pint of cheap vodka today. Now I'm off to the store to get a half pint and a solid, 12 oz beer.

your point? i came back to get hal lubarski funded....that failed, i donated 4 times, im back now. what's your point again?

it makes no sense to you that a dying forum needs more posting? it's perfectly logical to me.

so come January, God willing, I will be in rehab....

on my own accord....after the WCup, during the winter in KC when it's horrid to DASH....

I do not drink a fifth everyday, but I do now drink when I wake up and drink a few times a day, a slow buzz. Not the extreme drunkenness of my youth, but I need to do it for my health if anything.

Wish me luck. Hopefully the two months inbetween won't kill me somehow.
