We are definitely doing Siem Reap and likely Battambang. Then we are staying at a beach retreat on
Koh Rong Sanloem island. It's pretty isolated with very few roads, infrastructure etc. So it's strictly just R & R.
Then it's off to Phnom Penh.

If you're up in the air then try Koh Rong Sanloem or the busier island Koh Rong. I hear that these days you want to avoid the so-called casino mecca Sihanoukville.

Nice! our current plan is to do 2 days on Koh Rong sanloem and 2 on Koh Rong. (though we havent booked anything) Not sure if we are going to make battambang or not. Going to do a few days in kep/kampot. Im kind of feeling like a day or 2 in Phnom Penh is plenty, but I could be wrong

Do you know a good tour company?
Hanoi to Hoi An are quite far apart, you'd need to fly. If you get there, I'd recommend doing a half or full day bike trip to Hue. You can either ride a scooter or get on the back of one and ride the Hai Van pass, which is really stunning. It was on Top Gear a few years back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=639EFj3RJkw

In Hanoi, the most popular day trip is to Ha Long Bay, but have a look at Cat Ba Island, which is more secluded and a lot of fun to explore. You would need a scooter though, so if you're not comfortable riding, then I'd recommend going for Ha Long Bay.

Have a walk around Hanoi old town during the day and eat the street food. At night there's bia hoi, which basically means the beer corner. It's a cross street in the middle of the old town where all the bars sell super, super, super cheap beer straight from the keg. The quality varies, so bar hop until you find one you like, then pull up a tiny plastic stool, and watch the world go by.

If you're a Tony Bourdain fan, the place he took Obama to eat is a good 20-30 min walk from old town: https://g.page/bunchahuonglienobama?share

Warning: From what I understand it's pretty touristy now, but I managed to go there not looking after the episode aired, so it was pretty civil and mostly locals.

Quick question regarding lost luggage (if there's a better place to ask this, would appreciate direction)

-Dad traveled overseas
-On return trip, his luggage got lost / stolen somewhere along the way (he got to baggage claim and it never arrived)
-He has asked every relevant airline and none of them know what happened
-Eventually got through to JetBlue who appears to be the relevant party he must deal with
-After x days passed without his luggage being found, he filed a claim for reimbursement
-In the claim, he (for some reason) claimed only $1300 (rather than the maximum $3500 which is far more accurate as an estimate of damages)
-After 3 weeks of no updates, they sent a settlement form for $630

What are his current options? The Jetblue website doesn't say what to do if you don't agree to the settlement, they just give instructions for how to accept the agreement/release them from liability.

Based on some initial research, it looks like he can file a complaint through the Aviation Consumer Protection division of the Department of Transportation, but that's about all I could find.

If anyone has experience with this, or can advise, I'd really appreciate a PM / response.
