Not so much a nit as common sense. Serious health issues can occur. I have now seen 3 McDonald's closed because someone was refusing top wash their hands after using the restroom.

Using a toothpick after you've eaten is totally standard. Who is this supposed to be offending? If I've gotten some food lodged between my teeth after the main course I want to get it out before coffee and dessert. How do you even use the tooth pick for it to spray debris and being offensive?
