Ya, you're correct. I was def using porn way too much, wake up call came when I realized I was perfectly content with just going home and beating off to porn instead of putting in any effort to get with actual chicks; I was desensitized towards real interactions. Like OP, I jerked basically everyday for like 10 years plus. Now I'm at the point where the thought of masturbating seems boring as **** to me, as my interactions with women (and really, people in general) have improved substantially over the last few months.

Perhaps the most interesting side effect of no fap for me has been weight room strength. I've been busting through plateaus and setting new personal records almost every time I go to the gym. Energy is consistently through the roof.

Er, yes it has exactly the same protective effect you ass munches. Just because theres a possibility of an STD doesn't make the original premise any less correct.

Easier said than done for people like me who have all couples for friends, and all their friends are couples.

Amazing to read stuff on that site though, that just wanking 1-2 times a day ruins someone so badly they stop having friends, drives them to drugs, stop talking to women entirely, and don't feel anything at all physically for either sex no matter what is happening. I do it more than I should, but I don't lose sleep over it, get tired, stop trying to hook up, or stop going to the gym over it. It screws me up for sex, that's about it, enough I need to cut back on it and pron, not sure yet if entirely but quite a bit. Good for those that it has that awesome of effect on quitting completely, though.

I don't think its gonna be that hard for me. I've spent a lot of time traveling and don't fap at all nor worry that much about not being able to fap. Though I do lie around in bed more in the morning fantasizing about sex more than I would normally. After about two weeks I start to get wet dreams which are amazingly awesome.

you are right. it isnt as easy as some make it out to be. If there is an indivual that hellbent on porn and jacking off and just cannot talk to women at all and is struggling to have a social life. then I feel PUA would be a great option to that individual
