Local gas station that has $5 minimum purchase for credit card transactions. Who carries cash anymore? Went in to get a coke today, and cashier pointed to the sign. Though the sign said $5 minimum, she said she could go $3.50, which seemed pretty arbitrary.

I asked it I could get three cokes and she said no because that would just be $3.18. Told her that was fine and that despite this being the closest gas station that I would never step foot in there again.

Was pissed off about this for nearly 30 minutes.

I place my order and I noticed that I could get quicker shipping by signing up for their fastship or whatever it's called so I then cancel my order and grab the free trial and place my order again. My order is shipped out the very next day and it arrives on the 31st with no problem. Later that day I receive an email from Walmart informing me that a second package has been shipped out with the exact same contents, the package I cancelled within 5 minutes of ordering. They had over two days to cancel a package and somehow it wasn't enough time. Anyways I call support and ask them to intercept the package, after some back-and-forth I'm accidentally forward to FedEx and have to start the process all over again; eventually they confirm they have requested the package be intercepted. Well, a few days later I arrived home from work and there's a package waiting for me from Walmart. I call support explain the situation and a few minutes later I receive a prepaid label from FedEx. I ship out the package and a few days later tracking code confirms they have received the package so great, it's over... but no wait there's more! Today I received an email from Walmart reminding me to return the package. unreal.

90% of it was spoken into the mic so it might might not make sense

Ok so after speaking to a woman with broken English and guessing the info. she's requesting they updated my status 15 days after the package arrived. This makes me appreciate Amazon so much more.

Why wouldn't you just wait for it and ship it back? Lmao at "intercepting the package".

Because I don't feel like handling 100+ lbs worth of weights after work, printing labels and leaving them out on the porch for the entire day. I've had a package intercepted before. It would save me time and probably save them a few dollars.

I had no idea "intercepting packages" was a thing.

Banned,
Thats when you just dont worry about the package at all, file a credit dispute, and let your credit card company handle it. They will clearly see the same exact charge twice and reverse the charge. Then its up to Walmart to decide if they want to figure out how to get their package back.

Edit-
Background, tldr:
Had a very similar problem with a baby bouncer a while back ordered from Baby' R Us online. They sent (and charged me for 2 of the same item. Contacted their customer service and they expected me to take the package to UPS. I said no thanks, contacted the cc customer service and refund was issued that day.
Wrote an email to the store again telling them they could come get the package if they wanted it back, but they basically said they couldn't be bothered, so I ended up giving one away.

Also, any time someone begins a sentence with, "There are two kinds of people in this world...."
There are 2 kinds of people in this world. Those who pour salsa into a bowl and the savages who stick their hands into the jar.

The salsa jar fits in the cup holder. Where are you suppose to put a bowl when you're driving. Idiots!

Why not just buy some gas while you're there?

Or just have a few bucks cash on you and live on the wild side.

After the fact, I thought that I should have said something along the lines of "put the other $3.94 on pump 2." Then go out, pump about 5 cents worth of gas and hang up the nozzle. Pretty sure it shuts off after a few seconds and whatever isn't used is credited back.

When I go to wash my hands quickly and only turn on the hot tap. I always think I'll have enough time, but at the very last second I always burn myself a little (at least at home). Never hurts enough to actually use the cold and the hot tap together, but enough that I consider posting about it every time I do it. That also pisses me off so hopefully this ends the cycle.

Having 2 separate taps for hot and cold instead of just 1 tap.

At my job you need to swipe(read: tap to sensor) to get into certain corridors(not leaving though obv). The doors are glass so you can see people approaching. When i am leaving and will reach the door that allows someone to just go through the open door(swiping is simply a formality for the most part), some people will make eye contact with me, start to reach for their badge, and then stop and use the open the door.

It doesnt annoy me when people dont reach for it, and it doesnt annoy me when people know they dont need to swipe but do it anyway, but when people half ass it and do a fake motion to swipe it annoys me.

We both know they are just gonna use the door after i open it but they perform this stupid half hearted empty gesture and dont even have the decency to do the full thing and pointlessly swipe/tap their card.
