On the right turn on red or any stop sign - I almost always make sure to come to a complete stop primarily because I'm beaten down by the man. I don't want a ticket and rather than looking around for cops and cameras I just drive in a way that's pretty much not ticketable.

At one point, many years ago, I had 4 in a year or something and got a suspension threat. Since then, I just became compliant.

Except on my motorcycle obviously.

i played a huge number of sierra games. entire kings quest line, quest for glory line, police quest, space quest, roger wilco, half-life, etc. i don't even recognize a single title made by lucasarts.

also stop at stop signs and red lights you *******s. a brief stop helps prevent you from being a terrible driver who pulls out in front of me, which happens constantly, and adds virtually no time to your trip. and also, i can see when you're pulling up to the intersection that you're driving too fast to be planning to stop, and if you clearly can't make your right turn in front of me, i then have to either brake or be ready to brake in case you can't make your dumb late hard stop which could've been avoided if you just followed the rules from the get go.

I totally agree with this sentiment and I do stop at every sign/red light. I will say that stopping for several seconds while still moving less than a half foot (i.e. <1mph) at a clearly visible and deserted intersection should not be ticketed by cameras. If you just roll through though then yes you deserve a ticket and drive like an ass.

Well, well worth your time. Both in my top 15 games of all time. Looking at the GF wiki, they put out a remastered version last year. Android version is only 3.8 rated though (and 10 bucks for a phone game). Steam has it for $15.

When I download anything which is read-only. Who the hell does something with no benefit which takes all of ten seconds to reverse? It just disrupts my rhythm in whatever I'm doing.

I think getting ticketed for something you would never ever get ticketed by a cop for annoyed people. Also the timing of the camera often was off and would ticket people for going through a green light. The concept of the camera was good but the execution was not.

As I pointed out, I was ticketed for that exact thing by a real cop.

Where the heck does the law say you need to stop for 3 full seconds? I always assumed it was just any non-zero amount of time.

As a clean cut middle aged white guy in a luxury car, I am completely invisible to cops. I find the impartiality of cameras disturbing.

I'm left hand and wear my watch on my left hand. Wearing a watch on the right hand makes it impossible to mess with me crown.

It seems like every time I go to take a hot shower my wife chooses that time to do the dishes. I should be ecstatic that she does them every day without complaint. But I hate fighting the tap as she turns the water on and off.

I worked with a marketing manager who did this. Thing is she was a bright girl, who was very well educated - went to Gordonstoun and St Andrews - essentially very exclusive private school and university respectively and still f'ed this up every time.

It got to the point I was starting to wonder if she was trolling the rest of the world or thought it was somehow 'cute'.

When I was a little kid my grandma (raised in 1920s Oklahoma) would refer to my friends and my boy friends. I hated it.

Don't understand why women need to point out the gender of their friends by calling them girlfriends. When someone refers to friend, I assume same gender by default.
