I agree with this and it makes me think of something else I find super annoying: acronyms within acronyms. I can't think of an English example now, but the post service in Holland used to be called PTT, which stood for Post, Telegraphy, Telephony (translated into English of course but the acronym stays the same). At some point due to some privatization or whatever it turned into KPN, which stands for Koninklijke (royal) PTT Nederland. Still pisses me off.

It's a bathroom shared by our floor. When you walk in there's a small room with sinks, trash cans, and paper towels. Go through that room and you're at what appears to be a standard public restroom with 2 urinals and 2 stalls. Only on the left there are 6 lockers up against the wall and on the right is a door that leads to a shower.

Don't ask me why, but all the bathrooms in our complex are like that. Maybe because there's a tiny on site gym too?
