Dude, have a read of this thread. It's just a bit of stupid banter. Nobody is actually pissed off at pretty much anything I'm here. If anything, you're the tightly wound one for a response like this.

That all paragraphs in a multi-paragraph quotation contain an opening quote, but only the last one contains the closing quote.

I had a girlfriend who wore her watch to bed. Never understood that.

I didn't wear a watch until I found one I liked. Timex indiglo.

During the Parallel Snowboard Olympic coverage, one of the announcers comments how the Red course is much faster than the Blue course in the bottom section for EVERY PAIR OF RACERS. It's almost as if he thinks we forgot from a minute ago when the previous duo just went.

Maybe this SHOULD piss me off, but people who boast about what weather events they've been through/how they can handle certain types of weather. It infuriates me for real. STFU.

LOL. I don't know what it was like down there, but I think that may have been justified. But, on the other end, when people from cold/snowy climates look at those news stories and are all like "ZOMG! I CAN DRIVE IN SNOW, DURRRRRR," I want to kick their faces.

The fact that I have to hit enter after putting in my pin at the atm or zipcode at the gas pump. They know how many digits it is, it shouldn't need a confirmation. Or, really, that I have to put in my zipcode at the pump anyway. Is that really preventing any fraud? If someone has my card they probably already know my zipcode or can guess it in a few tries anyway.

It does give you the chance to backspace if you entered the last digit incorrectly. But yes having to put in the zip code at gas pump is BS.

Anytime the gas pump asks if I want a receipt prior to pumping gas. That question should be reserved for after I'm done pumping, so I can just ignore it and drive away.

I hate when websites change their password requirements to be some arbitrary length, include some random character, upper case, etc. This always seemed like a massive waste of time to me and a year or two ago I was happy to see a study (which I can't find at the moment) showing that this is, in fact, a big waste of time.

Basically, making people switch from a password they have memorized to one they don't leads to a lot of wasted time looking up and resetting passwords. It also causes people write down more passwords, adding another point of vulnerability. All to prevent an almost non-existent problem. Personal accounts are rarely hacked by someone straight up guessing the password.

Not that a total lack of supporting evidence has stopped companies from hopping on the trend.

On that note, I hate websites that make you change the password every 3 months. It drives me insane. Also, the password has to be 10 characters, have a capital letter, have numbers, but the numbers can't be at the end of the password. Grrrr.... so angering.

i want to just switch to one password i can remember that contains all those different characters but that means id have to go change all of them to start and dont feel like doing that

the worst is at work where i cant just have one name and password to log-on to everything, i have about a half dozen different name-password combinations i need to remember all with varying requirements and expiration periods

legit to get pissed off

Use Lastpass or KeePass. I use Lastpass and love it. Only need to know one master password and it will take care of remembering the rest. Also lets you generate random passwords that conform to different guidelines (length, numbers, uppercase, special characters, etc).

It also supports stuff like Google 2-factor identification, backup one-time passwords, etc.

My gf and Dad both have some auditory delay where when I say something they yell "Huh?!" and then 5 seconds later respond after "hearing" what I've said. The 5 seconds after that I sit in silence waiting for their hearing to catch up has reached a level of annoyance I cannot even fathom anymore.
