That the school board in Florida is giving $27M to the victims of that horrible school shooting in parkland.

I feel insanely bad for those who were murdered or hurt during this tragic event, but I am just left wondering why the school is held responsible. It shouldn’t piss me off because I’m no way am I effected by this payout since I don’t have kids in that school district and the money is going to people that I am sure are still hurting.

It pisses me off even more knowing there are hundreds of kids at that school who were terrified that day, some of which will develop major mental issues from that event, that are now even worse off now that their school district now has even less money to help educate them.

When a local news channel has a new meteorologist and I can't help but mistakenly think "this person is likely new to our area, they aren't going to be as accurate as the veteran meteorologists that have been here for years"
