It was in reply to kerowo's assertion that humans scramble up their fried eggs with a fork then put them on toast. Having toast allows for the sopping of yolk which ends up on your plate but pancakes soaked in egg yolks are much less appetizing.

I mean, you heathens eat eggs benedict with a knife right? Seems weird to complain about knife usage when egg and bread are plated side by side as opposed to stacked.

The original proposal was just for the common man, not royalty! If you are having eggs and pancakes you have your servants scramble up the eggs and then mop them up with the pancakes.

Under is ridiculous and should probably be punishable in some way.

What is all this food ridiculousness? Majority of eggs I eat I use a knife. Even if the eggs are on the top of toast.

Pancakes should definitely not have fruit and whatnot added to the batter. Wtf with this grossness!
