Thank you electric.

If I was an actual grammar Nazi, I would gouge my eyes out reading anything on the internet. Even reading college term papers would drive me insane.

i took my grandma, who's a very tough lady, to the airport today, and she noted for the billionth time how bad she feels making me get up SO early, and asked me 2 or 3 times if i'd be going to sleep when i got home.

I was agreeing with you, sort of. Definitely not calling you a grammar Nazi

The use of "very" more than twice in a row is very very very dumb. Twice in a row is only very very dumb. Another gripe is if someone either doesn't know what a word means or didn't quite hear what I was saying, and they say "the whoseywhat?" or "the whatseywho?", etc. Especially if they say it with a silly grin. It might only be old people who do this.

Actually, this is one for me - people who wear hoodies with the hood up for any reason other than being cold. I cannot look at people doing this and think they are anything but insecure children who are afraid to have people look at them or are hanging onto a fantasy that they are actually batman.

Anyone who wears a ballcap to the gym, regardless of age.

Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, One Direction.

And... pretty much any form of singing. I always seem to enjoy the first 10 secs of a tune and once the vocals come in I get incredibly tilted.

Stop hanging around 12 year old girls and this becomes less of a problem.

Irregardless is a combination of "regardless" and "speaker struggles with words".

Select-a-size paper towels.

I absolutely hate these things in every way and always have.

I understand conceptually the idea, if you have a small spill you can pull off a smaller square.

Do you know how often this comes up? NEVER.

Do you know how often you accidentally pull off a small square when you don't want to? EVERY DAMN TIME.

Seriously, if I was ever made a crazy Kim Jong Il style dictator I would ban these things and anyone making or buying them would be put to death.

Does select-a-size just mean they have double the frequency of perforations, so if you tear off at each perforation you'll get half of what was formerly a full square? I don't see the problem with that but maybe that's not how the select-a-size concept works. I mean if the perforations on the roll are irregularly patterned to go through a cycle of full square, half square, third of a square, then a full square again, that would be extremely dumb.

I couldn't disagree with this post more.

I actually wish they made the select-a-size even smaller.

They do. It's called tearing a paper towel small enough for what you want.
