I'd have to set up online bill pay all over again and find some other way to transfer $$ to my dad. All for an advantage I'm not really seeing. I go to the grocery store at least once a week, and I need cash less than that.
Not understanding the cash back haters. It's not like anyone is advocating a separate grocery store run for cash. But if you're already there getting cash adds like a second and a half to the transaction. This is a substantial improvement over any ATM plan no matter how convenient.
I have started refusing to take the change-receipt-cash origami from cashiers. I take my hand away and just say, "I don't need that receipt, thanks", or, "Can you put the receipt in the bag?" They stop and have to pull apart the origami themselves, hopefully getting an education on how annoying that is.
