When the hell did those Adidas shower sandals and socks become haute couture? I see some of the boys on their way to the nearby high school wearing these frequently while I am out walking the dogs. Granted they are the white, brown, and black versions of white trash for the most part but still.

I think I remember seeing a picture of Phil Ivey at a casino table wearing socks and shower sandals with some fat rolls of hundreds at his feet. He is forgiven.

I wear ankle socks almost exclusively when I wear sneakers because I hate the feel of socks on my legs.

I'm pretty sure that you wear sandals in the shower to avoid getting foot fungus. At least, in my experience.

When I finish at the driving range or a round of golf I change out of my spikes and into sandals (still wearing golf socks) and drive home like that. I then get out of my car at the house and neighbors may see me in sandals and socks. I always wonder if they are judging me. Then I pull my pants down do eliminate all doubt.
