I am not "TAKING" it, it is **GIVEN** to me MORON!

If you leave the building for **ANY** reason, you can't go back in to get your refill, PERIOD, that's that.

A bottle is an OBJECT. Now if I liked ketchup(I HATE THE STUFF), if I put some in a container to take home for my food, that's ok. I can't, however take more than what I need since this is not something given, again, this is just like taking ketchup packets at a fast food place, it's TAKING, NOT giving. It's not the same as the condiments **GIVEN** to me that I **ACTUALLY ORDER**. I am not ordering ketchup or a bottle if it's on the table already, duh.

NO, OCD people would do. People that want the best deals would do. The idiots would not do this.

My reading comprehension is good in that if the guy leaves the line(for ANY REASON), he loses his spot in line, PERIOD!

There's no cutting then. It's the same family, same group in line. A person can hold a spot for someone else that isn't a stranger. A stranger can hold a spot in line technically speaking, but that's not morally right if another person is behind that person, because that would be unfair to the 3rd person in line for example.

What if when the server brings you your steak they ask if you want any steak sauce and you ask for some tasty A-1 and they bring it to you? You ORDERED it and they GAVE it to you.

Springs1,
This is a forum of like minded poker professionals. We respect the VIRTUES of kindness, sincerity and acceptance. We do NOT however tolerate INSULTS or ***ILL WILL** towards others. Apology ACCEPTED

They should, but aren't going to do that, it's too late then. I have had that crap happen before where a lady as the cashier was ringing her stuff up went to get a loaf of bread the b****. I couldn't really say anything since the cashier was ringing her stuff up. I mean it's too late then, but it's still morally wrong to leave the line and morally wrong of the cashier to not void the transaction. If I were the cashier, I would have voided the transaction.

Springs,

It is too bad you are not smart enough to understand what FALSE PRETENSE means.

I agree with you on queues but I was brought up in the overly polite UK where queue etiquette dictates that you can't just leave the queue then come back and expect your space to be held.

I disagree with you on the whole only stupid people don't stealing condiments though. I know a lot of smart people who wouldn't be seen dead lifting a few sachets of ketchup from the dinner table to take home for the following day.

That bottle wasn't on the table, but the bottle itself is the restaurant's bottle. I can still empty the entire bottle out onto a plate and take that steak sauce home. I wouldn't do that since I hate a-1 and any good steak doesn't need that steak sauce in my personal opinion. The point is, I could empty the bottle, but not bring the bottle home, just the contents of it.

I am not stealing condiments though. If the restaurant wants to charge me, they will and if they won't, they won't. No law says they can't give away free food, is there?

What about taking the bottle home, emptying the contents into a bowl and then bringing back the bottle to them?

Then they should charge me, but don't. It's up to the owner or manager or server to decide to charge me. If they want to give me free whatever, WHY stop them?

You are STEALING because you are LYING about what you will do with the ranch.
WHERE have I lied? I haven't lied.

It is NOT free for you to use like groceries, it is only FREE for you to have with the food you order.
There's no wording on the menu or signs that state I can't do things how I want to.

They are giving it to you assuming you are not LYING so you can TAKE it home with you.
NO, they are giving it to me simply because I ORDERED IT. They are *CHOOSING* to not charge me.

THIEF.
NO, whatever they charged me is what I paid. I am not a thief.

Quote:
I also think you are LYING about being thin. Only REALLY FAT people eat so much ranch and I can only imagine how FAT someone must be if they eat so much ranch at the restaurant and then STEAL even more to EAT at home. You are probably the FAT woman in the picture someone posted eating pizza with RANCH.

FAT RANCH THIEF!!!!!!!
I am not lying about being not fat. I am not fat. Honestly, this morning since the holidays(been eating more than I normally do), I went up to 101lbs this morning. Today, only had my cup of oatmeal and I had my 170 calorie frozen meal just a little while ago. I have to go back to my weight hopefully it will go back to around 99lbs tomorrow, we shall see. I have more diet days during the week ahead of me that like tomorrow may take a break, but do it again on Tuesday the less than 500 calories again.

I am not a thief.
