Rogen's a mega douche and Franco is a pretentious douche. Also Rogen is a total douche. Franco should probably not do movies anymore or go to school or do stupid paintings. Rogen should stop sucking if only that were possible

This is not a movie review thread. See the title? It is about Sony canceling the theater release. What I was "worked up" about is the reaction to that action. The fact that people are paying more attention to this than real, destructive censorship. That people are more concerned with not letting Kim Jung Whatever in either north or south Koreasame****, interfere with them watching a movie than the ****ing death he is dealing to real people. Work camps. Slavery. There was a chance for people to give a **** about someone else. Instead they are taking pride in supporting Sony during this travesty on the premis that it is somehow helping show the world who we are. I'm afraid it is and I'm afraid that isn't what they think.

I find it even more sad that people are pretending they are fighting censorship by fighting for this useless ****ty movie when actual American Classic books are banned in schools by our own government without an eyebrow raised, and I worry about what the **** we are doing for our kids.

I don't recommend, or read newsweek myself. I was insulting somebody about the choices they make in the nail salon for reading material and that seemed like a good choice to paint the picture. Idk what magazines are available in nail salons. I don't even know if newsweek is still in print. Newsweek was not the point of the insult. You are very dim for thinking it was a real suggestion. We agree that the release of this movie is not a censorship issue. My point is that it is being confused all over the Internet by idiots. In fact that is my point ****ing precisely. That there are real examples of censorship to give a **** about and these same people who are calling this censorship don't give a **** about them makes it worse.

I liked This is The End, but thought people overrated it. I'm a big fan of pretty much the entire Apatow crew aside from Jay Baruchel.

The Interview would be placed solidly in the did not like rating.

LOL I'm a fan of their comedy but this is just to damn funny.

Story on slashdot says the movie, while getting terrible reviews in the US, was favorably received in Japan and causing a certain amount of grief for the NK gov't.

Possibly the movie was a tool of the U.S. Gov't?
