Yeah, I'd say cut down on candy first. Then go get a blood test for heavy metals if you're still concerned. I doubt any doctor would perform chelation therapy before determining you actually have high blood mercury/lead/etc.

do you have any theories on ear wax? i happen to think i could make a much better case for it being a bigger problem vs fillings(not talking about really acute toothaches)--and i'm being dead serious. even with excellent hygiene that stuff can build up a bit deeper in the ear canal and be really annoying.

I've had a couple mercury fillings for many years and they haven't affected my brain yet. (And we used to play with the mercury that we got out of broken thermometers...)

I got several filings with mercury back in he fifties and I don't think it ever caused me any damage.

OP are you fat? If you eat so much candy you are giving yourself fillings, your ****ty diet probably has more to do with your lethargy than anything else.

Very true, but theres mercury in water,tobacco,in the ground etc. Small amounts. Its not only thing you should worry about then, even in the air you breath outside has toxics. Eating shortens your life time and vice versa.
