My friends are in the final stages of completing their documentary called "Elliot". It's based on a guy we met in my home town who produced some horrendously bad martial arts flicks. It started out as a tale of a bad film maker, but as they spent more and more time with the guy, they realized that he was a compulsive liar who duped pretty much everyone in his life.

Trailer:

It just got accepted to the Slamdance indie film fest. They're in the final stages now.

I've seen a rough cut of it and it's extremely good. The trailer is very much the tip of the iceberg.

Should be a lot of interest here as the film appears to pretty much reflect the life of a typical 2+2 poster.

Spoiler:
Def. looks worth a watch.

They just posted a really weird deleted scene. Halfway to their kickstarter goal!
