That wasn't an article about a Thanksgiving incident. That was a poster describing an incident. If you stuck a microphone in isolated's mother-in-law's face, what do you think she would say? What could she say? Nobody is going to say publicly that they knew their dog was a monster.

If it makes you feel better, I think Boerboels are a pretty awful idea, too.

For the record pit bulls continue to thrive in Ontario. I pet their adorable stupid little faces at the dog park all of the time. Neener neener.

It's fun watching the owners assess whether you're a narc.

Does it bother you that pit bulls steal all the thunder from the viciousness of your dog's breed?

I live in Ontario. I literally pet one yesterday. Just reporting the news. People are very careful about where/when they walk their dogs but I still see them roughly weekly.

Strangers giving my dog a wide berth is a perk but I actively engage. I enjoy educating my neighbours on how to approach/play with large dogs. I am a fixture in the community.

Look at how floofy he was! You can practically see the new puppy smell.

You're not making any sense. You quoted two of my posts that show no change in my opinion. You even bolded parts of them which serves no purpose beyond creating further confusion, afaict.

Maybe you're confusing me with someone else or something. My stance on pit bulls has been consistent for years.

If you want me to walk back my compliment this badly, OK fine I guess.

Because dogs aren't races, lol. There is no significant instinctual, intellectual, or physical difference between humans of any race, plus we can successfully interbreed.

You can teach any race of human to be a fireman, a hunter, or how to herd sheep. You can't do this with dogs, which is why these workers only use certain breeds in their field. The dogs they use have been bred to show the traits needed to do the assigned work. You cannot train other breeds to do that kind of work because they simply do not have the physical characteristics and, equally important, the correct temperament or any ability to learn the needed skills.

The thought that the owner makes the dog and nurture overrides nature is mostly hogwash. This would go against the very point of taming dogs along with centuries of selective breeding.

Are you really making the case that claiming black people are more dangerous than white people is the same as claiming pitbulls are more dangerous than Pomeranians? Jfc.
