Good to read about these "heroes" and their selfless acts.

Last night one of my wife's coworkers was mauled by a pitbull. It was a puppy.
Fairly gruesome:

I'd hate to see what a full grown pit would've done.
She was out running and the dog attacked her unprovoked. Apparently she didn't even see it until it was tearing apart her leg.

Went to the dog beach today. Well it's an outlet really. Was about to take the dog down to the beach on one side of the outlet. Saw a pit bull. So decided to take my dog to the other side.

Less than 5 minutes later. Hear a big dog fight on the other side. Look over to see people pulling dogs apart without much success. 5 minutes after that an ambulance, 2 cop cars and a fire truck turn up. Everyone was crowded around a person on the beach.

Didn't see how it ended up as we left before the crowd cleared.

But the pitbull did look really friendly chasing the ball on the beach when I was walking past. Other dog probably looked at it funny.

how are the owners not charged with murder or sent to jail for yeaaarsss at least if victims survive the attack? and its usually kids too? so ****ed up beyond reason.

Not sure yet. My wife says she has not returned to work since the injury. I would hope the dog is put down before it
attacks or kills someone else but I dont know if it was even taken from the owner.
Will probably find out more details this coming week.
