Blame 27 for that. He doesn't know how to spell.

I had to try avocado dogs. Do not recommend. Did do one with some catsup, though.

I'd never heard of a humbow, but yes, I'd think of that as a sandwich.

I'll only have one or so hotdog/year, at a ballgame or something like that. I prefer grilling up some hot Italian sausage, dousing that in Frank's Red Hot, then melting mozzarella on top.

Huh. So if meat and stuff baked into a roll (humbow, kolache, etc.) is a sandwich, what about a Cornish Pasty? Is that a sandwich too?

Wow. So filled pastry counts as a sandwich. OK, then, how about a pierogi?

I think by his definition which I don’t agree with you need to be able to hold it in your hand? So no.

Maybe? Post in defense of hot dogs as a sandwich just says "stuff between bread."

Trying to explore this slippery slope and see if ravioli are sandwiches in beer line land.

This is not the sandwich debate thread. It is the CATSUP thread.

Okay okay 27o.

Da_Nit's more where I'm at. I kind of think of sandwiches as something you normally pick up to eat, which has a bready outside.

It should be noted that I'm not very worldly in the ways of food. I could be talked into Garick's "no" argument for pasties. Not sure if the difference between "crust" and an bread is significant, for example.

Let's not rule out the significant possibility that I'm just 1000% off on my definitiion.

It should be required on cold meatloaf sandwiches.

Only sandwich I like a little ketchup with is a patty melt.

Boom, sandwich hamburger. It's in the definition.
