oh i assure you i've done that many times already. i just meant about an auction thread. especially right after doing a wrestling draft.

This guy didn't even want to touch the AC because it's obviously ****ed and he doesn't want it to be his responsibility. He doesn't think it can be fixed, actually, and says it's time to cut losses and replace it.

OOT: YOUR ONE-STOP PRO-WRESTLING STOP

I discussed this irony with Al, but the points I'd make in response would be:

- The area of LA where he lives is five or six degrees cooler than where I live, at least.

- I have two little kids.

- It actually IS livable - I've been doing it for nearly two weeks with no end in sight. It does not seem to be an unreasonable opinion that having broken AC is ****tier than not having AC at all. Then you factor in the FIVE visits from technicians over the last two weeks, each with a six hour time window. I suppose I could give up and pretend the AC never existed, but I'm not going to do that.

- IIRC he was on the ground floor. Ground floor of my house is completely pleasant at night. The upstairs, where the bedrooms happen to be located, is much worse.

Pretty soon I just buy myself a brand new AC system and then start fighting with the warranty people about how much money they owe me.
