I don't know about you, but I love movie scenes that give me the chills/goosebumps. Below are links to some examples and I included movies from different genres.

1. The Sixth Sense car scene

For me, most goosebumps scenes lose their effect after watching it a few times. This is an exception though as it gets me every time. The acting and dynamic between the mother and son is simply amazing.

2. Field Of Dreams father/son scene

I think for most people Field of Dreams is either a love or hate type of movie. I love baseball and the plot so I guess I'm a little biased. I cannot help but shed some tears every time I see this scene.

3. Good Will Hunting bar scene

Seeing Will own this douche bag gave me goosebumps the first time I saw it. The effect has worn off as I have seen the movie a lot of time, but it is still a great scene.

The famous Robin Williams monologue and "You won't be there" scenes definitely "give more chills" than the bar scene from the awesome movie, Good Will Hunting. (although the bar scene was awesome ownage)

The scene from Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith where the little Jedi kid is looking at Anakin and you just see him flick on his lightsaber.

Agreed. The bar scene is total intellectual pwnage for sure, but I wouldnt say it 'gives chills' either.

the car scene in the OP reminded me another great car scene in michael clayton. no vid sorry. the one where he's talking to his kid. it's excellent.

This one's a little cheesy, perhaps, but I love it. It's from the last episode of Extras and won't be as meaningful if you aren't already familiar with the show, but when I first saw it it was a huuuuge cathartic release.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, there's always the crub-stomping scene in American History X or the screeching train in Godfather I.

no youtube clip, but there's a scene in "after the wedding" where the patriarch who has a terminal disease breaks down in front of his wife screaming "i dont want to die." it sounds a bit over the top but, within the world of the film, it works and it's heartbreaking.

This one gets me everytime.

Easiest answer for me is the last 10 minutes of Six Feet Under.
