So the two major actors unions are both negotiating new deals with AMPTP. I thought a thread may draw some interest.
For background, deadlinehollywooddaily.com is good (if biased towards SAG).
Many seem to think AFTRA leadership negotiated a crappy deal in hopes of getting its members more work. Even if this is true, SAG is so dominant that I don't see it working. As with the writers, new media/residuals are a major sticking point.
