You should also check out both of Immortal Techniques albums Revolutionary Vol 1 and 2.

Maybe I will think of some more stuff that stood out for me from 2002 and on that wasn't just radio BS. Kanye's **** is pretty good, but its so overhyped as well.

I will def check back in this thread because I need some new stuff to listen to as well.

Wanted to add that Sage, Atmosphere, and Doom are pretty garbage IMO.

This is pretty great, but I could not stop laughing at the white dude in the flannel in the background. I've never seen anyone look so out of place, but he's just trying to vibe and looks silly.

The whole Joyfull Rebellion Album from K-os is amazing. I didn't get into his atlantis Album as much, but his first 2 albums were terrific.

Some of my favourite hip hop albums:

Lupe Fiasco - The Cool, and Food & Liquor - he might be my favourite rapper right now. I can't wait for his third album.

The Roots - pretty much everything. I also really enjoyed their most recent albums. Black Thought is one of my favourite rappers.

So weird, was just thinking yesterday I wonder when the next Felt drops, haven't looked into it forever, just got ridiculously stoked til I read that Aesop bit, ugh, single doesn't relieve the concern either. blockhead could pull it off maybe, but Aesops sound is sooo off and if they wanted to go that route get El-P and give him some direction.

Still very interested to hear it, though.
