I had no idea Z-Ro was ever arrested lol, I did have two of his CD's a while back. Typical hood rap, had about 3-4 dope songs and then a bunch of trash.

I have no clue who these guys are, but I strongly urge you to go out and get Qwel and Maker - So Be It. This album gives MotM, BP3, and OB4CL2 a run for their money as far as 09 goes.

New Ghostface dropped. Very much a crooner album for him though.

yea kiss murders that cypher. Juelz is so lame...that was him coming correct and I still hated it. His flow is just so weak, the beat doesn't even matter when he's rapping, it's all the same flow anyways.

Looks like The Clipse's Till the Casket Drops release date has been moved up to October 10th. I haven't been this excited for an album since... In rainbows?

I really hope the Pharell produced single "I'm Good" is not indicative of the sound of the rest of the album. Although, I don't think I will be too upset even if the album is a complete sellout... as long as they actually get the mainstream attention they so desperately are seeking.

Malice has unashamedly made it clear in his video blog (which is pretty awesome, IMO), that The Clipse does not live the life they talk about in their raps, which is obviously true for 98% of rappers out there; He is just the only one with balls enough to admit it. Unfortunately, he has also alluded to the fact that he is rather financially strapped, even going so far as to suggest his house could be foreclosed on. This may or may not have been simply to provide commentary on their state of the economy, so take that with a grain of salt.

Regardless, I think artists with such incredible talent, that have stayed true to themselves and put out release after release of fantastic music without attaining the commercial success they deserve, should be allowed to make some sacrifices in search of the almighty dollar... just really hope they get it.

FWIW, I think the Kanye produced Single "Kinda like a big deal" is legit... and while there is no way that this will hold up to "Hell Hath No Fury", which I think is arguably the best rap album of the decade... Fingers crossed that its at least as good as Re Up Gang Vol 3.

I saw it at http://maliceoftheclipse.com on the first video "Clipse in Michigan". The first thing it displays is "Till The Casket Drops Oct 20th"

I believe this is digital only because http://www.clipseonline.com still says it hits stores 11/10. Although, they might just not have updated all the graphics.

Also, Amazon has the on sale date listed as Oct 20.
